Friday's $643.2 million bitcoin ETF outflow wiped out the week's inflows
Farside Investors' completed 30 October table, as reported by Bitcoin Insider, shows $643.2 million leaving US spot bitcoin ETFs and $155.7 million leaving ether funds. The combined withdrawal is $798.9 million. Those figures are Friday's session, and they are completed flows. BlackRock's IBIT lost $233.7 million, Fidelity's FBTC $201 million, ARK 21Shares' ARKB $129.5 million, Grayscale's GBTC $53.3 million and Bitwise's BITB $25.7 million. The other listed bitcoin products were flat on the day. Investing.com rounded the bitcoin total at $643.3 million and put cumulative inflows near $57 billion, down from an October peak of about $57.8 billion.
The same Farside table shows $110.3 million in on 26 October, $176 million on 27 October, $137.3 million on 28 October and $17.2 million on 29 October. That four-session total of $440.8 million was smaller than Friday's redemption, so the five trading days finished $202.4 million in the red. A run of green days did not produce a green week. The midweek creations are in Wednesday's ETF note.
