US spot bitcoin ETFs took in a net $137.3 million on Wednesday, a third straight day of inflows, while ether funds lost $21.4 million. Farside Investors showed BlackRock's IBIT adding $136.0 million and Bitwise's BITB adding $1.3 million. Every other listed bitcoin fund, including Fidelity's FBTC and Grayscale's GBTC, was flat. No listed bitcoin fund recorded an outflow. The daily total was below Tuesday's $176.0 million and above Monday's $110.3 million. Together the three sessions added $423.6 million, and IBIT took $397.8 million of that. The coin itself was back near $80,100, the level in today's price story.
October is positive again, and the week is still lopsided
CryptoWatchDesk, tallying the same Farside prints, said October is now $110.1 million positive for bitcoin funds after 20 sessions. The month was about $313 million in the red at Friday's close, the gap we logged in Monday's flow note, and still about $27 million negative after Tuesday. The turn rests on one fund. IBIT is up $1,153.0 million for October. FBTC is down $564.0 million and ARKB is down $314.5 million. TokenPost added a useful caution: the latest five trading days are still about $349.9 million negative. Cumulative net flow since launch stood at $57.674 billion. Wednesday's creations were recorded around the Fed decision, before Thursday's softer tape.
Ether and Solana funds kept leaking
Ether funds lost a net $21.4 million, a third outflow day and the smallest of the week. BlackRock's ETHA shed $44.8 million. Fidelity's FETH took in $18.8 million. Grayscale's ether mini trust added $3.6 million and Morgan Stanley's MSSE added $1.0 million. crypto.news, citing SoSoValue, put the ether outflow at $21.41 million and ETHA at $44.83 million, the same picture to the nearest tenth. October is still $1,346.0 million negative for ether funds, and $1,272.2 million of that is ETHA. The week so far is $170.2 million out. Solana funds lost $5.7 million, all of it from Bitwise's BSOL. Ether traded near $2,320, extending the slide from Monday's $2,320 note. Flows record shares created and redeemed. They are a positioning print, and the next one will show whether Thursday's dip under $80,000 changed the bid. Track both tapes on the markets desk.
