Bitcoin traded near $75,700 on Wednesday as U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted their largest one-day outflow since late June, a day after the Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act and hours before the Federal Reserve's first rate decision of the cycle. Farside put net redemptions across the 13 listed funds at $450.4 million on Tuesday 15 September, after $159.9 million of creations on Monday. That is the heaviest print since 24 June, when the same wrappers lost $469 million in a tech-led risk-off session. Fidelity's FBTC led with $214.8 million of outflows. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, ticker IBIT, followed with $161.7 million. Grayscale's GBTC lost $44.1 million. ARK 21Shares ARKB redeemed $17.4 million. Bitwise BITB took $12.4 million. CoinMarketCap snapshots showed the coin down about 2.5% near $75,700. Other desks still marked the $76,000 to $77,300 area overnight. Monday's $160 million creation is now a round trip, not a floor. See how IBIT's $134 million of Monday buying already sat on a $463 million outflow week.

$75,700 is the funds-rate test, not a seasonal bounce

The four sessions from 8 to 11 September already took $462.7 million out of the category. Tuesday's $450.4 million is a second shock in eight trading days, not a one-off. Support desks now mark $75,000, then $74,000. Resistance remains $80,000 to $82,500, last seen on the 3 September wick. Coupon-free assets do not like a 10-year that tagged 5.04% on Tuesday and a Senate that could not even win a majority on market structure. The FOMC decision lands at 2:00 p.m. Eastern today, with a press conference at 2:30 p.m. and a fresh Summary of Economic Projections. CME FedWatch and related books sit near 92% for a 25 basis point lift to 3.75% to 4.00%, the first hike since July 2023 and the first since spot Bitcoin ETFs existed. If IBIT creates into a hawkish statement, $75,700 can still hold. If the dots show another hike this year and the wrappers redeem again, $74,000 is the level that matters. For the vote that already failed, see why 49 to 50 was not close to 60. For the path Chair Kevin Warsh still has to walk, see what 2:00 p.m. actually decides.
