Ether traded near $2,535 on Thursday after U.S. spot Ether ETFs lost $160.9 million on 7 October, a seventh straight outflow session. CryptoTimes had the token near $2,572 earlier in the day. A later same-day quote put it near $2,535, down about 1.6%, inside a range of about $2,526 to $2,588. Farside Investors figures cited by crypto.news put BlackRock's ETHA at $116.1 million of Wednesday's total, about 72%, and Grayscale's ETHE at $25.8 million. Smaller withdrawals showed at 21Shares, Bitwise, VanEck, Grayscale's mini fund, and Invesco.
Seven sessions, and most of the damage is one fund
The streak runs from 29 September through 7 October and totals about $568.8 million. The five October sessions alone total about $506.4 million. Tuesday was heavier than Wednesday: $201.9 million left on 6 October, and that entire print came from ETHA. Bitcoin funds alternated through the same dates and then lost $484.9 million in a single session. Ether funds did not alternate. They redeemed. A change in one product can move the whole complex, which means the streak is real and also concentrated. It is not, by itself, proof that every ether holder is leaving. On Sunday the weekly figure was about $118 million of outflows after a $689.8 million inflow week, with ether near $2,695. Thursday's spot price is about $160 lower. The next Farside row will show whether an eighth session prints. Creations would have to persist, and spot would have to trade back through this week's highs, before $2,700 is a close rather than a level the market already left.
