Ether ETFs Add $121 Million as Bitcoin Wrappers Flip Green

Ethereum ETF inflow screens as U.S. spot Ether funds take $121 million on 14 September 2026
ETHA's $80.5 million is the bid. A $5.4 million QETH redemption is not the story. AXT News

U.S. spot Ether ETFs took in $121 million on Monday 14 September, the third-largest session of the month, while Bitcoin funds flipped back to a $160 million creation after a $463 million outflow week. SoSoValue put BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust, ticker ETHA, at $80.5 million, lifting ETHA's cumulative net inflow to $13.09 billion. Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust added $16.2 million. BlackRock's staking product ETHB took $14.4 million. Fidelity's FETH added $8.9 million. 21Shares' TETH took $6.5 million. Invesco's QETH was the holdout, with $5.4 million of redemptions. Category net assets sat at $16.42 billion, about 5.23% of ether's market cap. Cumulative net inflows reached $13.51 billion. Combined Bitcoin and Ether creations were about $281 million. Ether itself traded near $2,490.55, down 0.9% on some snapshots, while Bitcoin held near $77,000. The wrappers did not wait for the coin. See how IBIT's $134 million led the Bitcoin side of that print.

Ether kept buying through Bitcoin's red week

The four sessions from 8 to 11 September were the split. Bitcoin ETFs lost $462.7 million. Ether funds took in $196.9 million, a fourth green week. Friday 11 September was the turn: $216.4 million of Ether creations, with ETHA at about $149 million. Monday's $121 million means the two latest sessions absorbed about $337 million. Through mid-September some tallies put Ether ETF inflows at $324 million for the month, ahead of Bitcoin's $307 million through 11 September before Monday's bounce. Traders are using the Ether wrappers as collateral for CME futures yield strategies. That is a plumbing story, not a slogan. XRP funds added $11.26 million on Monday, a third-largest September session, with cumulative inflows near $1.71 billion. Solana products added $11.01 million, with cumulative inflows near $1.37 billion. Those prints are real. They are not ETHA.

A rate hike still taxes a yield coin less than a coupon-free one

The Fed votes Wednesday. A 25 basis point lift is already in the 90% zone. Ether's staking yield is why the wrappers kept creating while IBIT redeemed last week. That does not make ether a bond. It does make the relative bid rational if Warsh hikes and the dots show more. If the statement is hawkish and both wrappers redeem, $2,490 is just another handle. If ETHA creates into the press conference the way it created into CPI Friday, the rotation has another session. Treat Monday as a flow fact. Treat 2:00 p.m. Eastern on 16 September as the test. For the inflation file that set that test, see August core CPI at 0.3%.
