XRP exchange-traded products took in about $70 million last week while bitcoin and ether funds were still losing money, and the token itself traded near $1.30. CoinShares figures reported by The Block, and written up on 18 October, put that $70 million against $446 million of outflows from the wider crypto ETP market. Bitcoin products in that CoinShares set shed about $443 million. Ether products lost about $59 million. Solana funds were also positive, at $7.5 million, a much smaller print than XRP. Franklin Templeton's XRP fund alone took $28.6 million, close to half the category. These CoinShares numbers cover global listed products. They are not the same cut as the U.S. spot tables we used for bitcoin's $82.4 million Friday outflow and ether's $320.1 million week. The direction matches. The dollar totals do not, because the universes differ.
A smaller base that is still buying
Spot XRP ETFs launched in November 2025. Bitwise, the first mover, took $107 million on day one, against a $69.5 million first day for its own Solana fund. SoSoValue data put the complex, now including Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Canary and Grayscale's converted GXRP, at about $1.69 billion of assets by the end of the third quarter. About $307.87 million of that arrived in the third quarter of 2026. Grayscale's fund began as a private trust of about $16 million and now trades on NYSE Arca. The category is still small next to bitcoin and ether wrappers, which is why a $70 million week can look large. CoinShares has also put combined crypto ETP outflows since the 10 October liquidation shock at about $3.2 billion. One green week does not reverse that. It does show the newer XRP books were not the first place sellers hit.
The token is still well below the old high
XRP near $1.30 is far under the cycle high around $3.60 from July 2025. Coinbase data cited in the same reporting said 97% of XRP long positions on its derivatives market have entry prices above the current spot price, so leveraged buyers from higher levels are still underwater. That split, sticky ETF inflows against a bruised derivatives book, is the part worth watching into next week. If the $70 million pace fades while bitcoin holds the $80,000 area, the XRP inflow will look like a one-week rotation. If it repeats while bitcoin and ether products stay in redemption, the wrapper is trading as its own book.
